Melissa helps keep the wheels turning behind the scenes, leading the firm’s marketing and finance efforts to ensure everything runs smoothly. From operational efficiency to client experience, she helps ensure the success of the business. Working closely with Brian, Melissa also helps shape the firm’s strategy, oversee team operations, and coordinate client events. Her focus is simple: create an experience that is not only positive, but efficient.
Before joining Brian, Melissa managed the physical rehabilitation departments of senior communities in San Francisco and worked as an occupational therapist. In those roles, she developed a deep appreciation for building meaningful relationships and helping others improve their quality of life. She brings that same care, attention to detail, and dedication to making a lasting impact to the clients and colleagues she works with today.
Originally from Texas, Melissa enjoys maintaining her home and bargain hunting for a great find. She values time with her teenage boys and is always thinking of creative ways to “create more time” in a busy schedule. Most afternoons are spent chauffeuring between hip hop and sports while still managing to squeeze in a home-cooked meal. Melissa is fluent in Taiwanese and Mandarin Chinese
