Matt Ayres
Matt Ayres is our Client Services Specialist. His focus is preparing client reports for meetings, entering trades (at the direction of the advisor), client services and special projects.
With over 18 years of experience in the financial industry, Matt started out as a Clerk on the floor of the Pacific Stock Exchange. Then he joined the market making firm, Timber Hill LLC, (Now Interactive Brokers), as an Options Trader. Along the way he has worked as a Trader for several firms, including his own company, Oakmont Trading.
Matt was born in Burlingame and grew up in Concord. He graduated from Saint Mary’s College, and currently lives in El Granada, just north of Half Moon Bay. In his free time, he is a trail runner, and competes in ultramarathons. He once rode a skateboard 200 miles in one day (who would do that). Most of his free time these days though, he spends playing volleyball with his daughter Ashley, or trying to keep up with his son Austin on the soccer field.
