A few years back when I joined a gym, they offered a complimentary personal training session. Just 25 minutes into pushups, pull ups and crunches I was dry heaving in the corner with the trainer asking why I was so out of shape. It was at that moment I realized that the pain and anxiety I had was probably what a lot of prospective clients feel the first time they meet with me. Before our session I told the personal trainer that my workouts were limited to running on a treadmill.
