Brian Wong is the owner of Red Tower Advisors and has two decades of experience in the financial services industry. Acting as a fiduciary and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Brian focuses on comprehensive financial planning with a client-centric approach to help his clients reach viable financial solutions.

Brian builds successful relationships with his clients by listening earnestly to their concerns while maintaining a relatable and approachable demeanor. When he meets with clients, it is a two-way discussion that takes place, not a lecture.  He is a graduate of UC Davis with a B.S. in Physiology, and holds the designations CFP, CHFC, CLU, RICP and CDFA.

The importance of family has been ingrained in Brian from a young age, as he comes from a large family of sixteen aunts and uncles. This value plays a crucial role in the level of care he takes when providing financial guidance to his clients and their loved ones.

Brian was born in San Francisco and has lived in the Bay Area all of his life. He recently moved from Foster City to San Mateo.  In his free time, Brian enjoys spending time with his large, extended family and attending Boy Scout events with his two sons.  A weekend well spent means the family got to try a new restaurant in the Bay Area and he played a game of basketball with his boys.  Brian is fluent in Cantonese.

David Ardini, CFA, MBA

Portfolio Manager


David is an administrative associate who assists with portfolio management tasks, including: assessing client risk tolerance, monitoring economic trends, asset allocation, portfolio construction and portfolio rebalancing.  He holds a B.A. with honors from the University of California at Santa Barbara and an M.B.A. from the University of California at Irvine. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. 

David has over twenty years of experience in the area of investment management. His experience includes investment analysis, portfolio management, credit risk management, and banking. He was the lead institutional portfolio manager for the Floating Rate Debt Group at Franklin Templeton Investments and held other positions while there for over 15 years.  He also held positions at Union Bank of California, Bank of America, JP Morgan and Swiss-Re.

David is from the Bay Area but has lived in other locations, including Europe. In his spare time he enjoys walking “Duskie” the family rescue shorkie-poo, traveling, and time with family.

Bryce Heringer

Bryce Heringer is an Account Executive at Red Tower Advisors, where he focuses on client relations, investment operations, account maintenance, and assisting with planning and meeting preparation.

Bryce has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry servicing high net worth clients. He has a background in account management, investments and trading. He holds his series 6, 7, 66 and 24 securities licenses through LPL Financial.

Born in San Diego, Bryce moved with his family to the Bay Area at a young age and has been here ever since. He currently lives in San Jose, and is one of four brothers and sisters in his family. Challenging himself both mentally and physically every day is important to Bryce, and he stays highly active in his free time by golfing, playing basketball, scuba diving (he learned to dive originally in Monterey, but prefers the warm waters of the Caribbean), and obstacle racing in 5k mud runs.

Melissa Wong

Operations Manager

Melissa oversees the operations and flow of the practice to help ensure the client experience is not just positive, but efficient!  Never one to waste time, Melissa plans and organizes client events, manages the team calendar, and overseas the team.  She holds a B. S. in Child Development/ Family Relationships and a Masters in Occupational Therapy.

Prior to joining Brian, she managed the physical rehabilitation departments of senior homes in San Francisco and worked as an occupational therapist.  She brings the same type of love for client interaction and lasting impact here to the people we serve.  If you have a compliment to pay or suggestion to make, please let Melissa know.

Originally from Texas, Melissa enjoys maintaining her home, playing Uno with her sons, and bargain hunting for a great find. She enjoys opportunities to volunteer at her sons' school and see them at play with friends.  Most afternoons are spent as a chauffeur to hip hop and taekwondo classes.  Melissa is fluent in Taiwanese and Mandarin Chinese.
